View > Table of Contents

The Table of Contents page gives access to the entire structure of the document, the sections, chapters, pages and paragraphs. If present lists of figures, tables, movies, pdf-documents, referenced files and anchors are displayed.

Viewing and Selection:
  • Clicking onto an arrow Arrow-right 10 reveals or closes the content of the section, chapter or page. Option-clicking onto an arrow Arrow-right 10 reveals or closes the content of all lower levels.
  • Click-dragging onto an arrow Arrow-right 10 moves the selected section, chapter, or page to a different location within the document structure.
  • Command-clicking onto an arrow Arrow-right 10 adds the corresponding chapter or page to the current chapter of page selection.
  • Clicking into the title of a section, chapter, page or paragraph selects the section, chapter, page or paragraph.

Structure Editing:
  • The command Document > New Section add a section to the end of the document. The command Document > Delete Section deletes the currently selected section. The deletion is undoable.
  • The commands Document > New Chapter, > New Page and Paragraph > New Paragraph insert a new chapter, a new page and a new paragraph after the selected one.
  • The commands Document > Delete Chapters, > Delete Pages and > Delete Paragraphs deletes the selected chapters, pages and paragraphs. The deletion is undoable.

Manoeuvring:
  • Clicking onto the page numbers displays the content of that page.
  • The command View > Table of Contents displays the Table of Contents page.
  • Clicking onto the TOC text in the header of any other page displays the Table of Contents page.
